Molanders Sign & Display / Durst Nordic represents Durst exclusively in Sweden, Norway, Finland and the Baltic States as well Denmark for label printing systems. The company was successfully built up and co-founded by the current CEO Hans Molander. We are now looking for a successor to Hans who will build on the great achievements and continue to develop the market together with us. The MD will report to CEO, Durst Group and indirectly to VP Sales, CFO and Director os Service. The position is located in Stockholm, preferably at the office at Dalenum, Lidingö.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead and Grow: Spearhead the growth and management of our Nordic operations, currently generating ~ 80 million sek in annual revenue (~ 100 million sek incl commission sales)
- Team Leadership: Manage and build a team of 10-15 in sales, service, and administration, driving towards long-term profitability.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a hands-on sales strategy that aligns with both corporate objectives and the specific needs of Durst Nordic.
- Market Expansion: Proactively approach new clients, open up new markets, and optimize existing sales channels.
- Networking: Build and sustain a robust network of customers and partners across the region.
- Financial Management: Take full P&L responsibility and provide regular reports to headquarters in Tyrol.
Your Profile:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent professional experience.
- Leadership: Proven track record in leading a team of at least five people.
- Industry Knowledge: Essential experience in print, digital printing, or related sectors (including pre/post-processes or software).
- Language Skills: Fluent in Swedish and English; knowledge of German is a plus.
- Global Experience: Experience in managing national operations within an international company.
- Core Competencies: Strong sales acumen, excellent communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and persuasion skills, coupled with independence and a solid sense of responsibility. You have also highly analytical and great leadership skills.
